Adjustments
To a clergyman during the early war period, Lincoln made a significant remark. The minister had solemnly whispered to Lincoln, "Let us have faith, Mr. President, that the Lord is on our side during this great struggle."
Lincoln quietly retorted, "I am not at all concerned about that, for I know the Lord is always on the side of the right; but it is my contstant anxiety and prayer, that I and this nation may be on the Lord's side."

Instead of asking God to adjust to our way of thinking, we should seek to adust ourselves to God's way of thinking!
