Do you have a hard time remembering names? You can try harder … you can use one of the many memory-aid methods that are taught by various experts … or you can adopt the simpler method of comedian George Burns.
When Burns was in his 70s, he began to introduce an acquaintance to his son, but found that he couldn't remember the acquaintance's name. He got so flustered that, for a few minutes, he couldn't even remember HIS OWN name!
So, Burns decided that he would never be caught in that situation again. His solution? He decided to call everyone, "KIDDO"!
For the next 30 years, Burns never had to deal with the "needless stress" of remembering other people's names, since he just called them all "Kiddo."
